We heard it from day one: “Why can’t you just like a post?” Our answer? “Well, if you like it, just put it in your Try Vault!'“ After a lot more feedback, we realized that there were a ton of posts that were great but not our cup of tea. Yet we felt the burning need to acknowledge the person throwing it out there to their followers. So here we are!
🤔 So, when would you love something in your feed?
Say you are scrolling through your feed and see something that your friend posted. Maybe a movie from when you were a kid, and you’re overtaken with a wave of nostalgia. You’ve tried that movie. You liked that movie. But do you VOUCH for it? They did, but maybe not you. Yet you still want to throw them some love for posting it. Now you can!
⚙️ The Nitty-Gritty
Items in your feed that have not been liked will appear with an outlined heart with no number. If it has been liked by others, it will have a number in the center of the outline. If you tap the heart or double-tap the image associated with the post, you now love it too.
The count in the heart will go up with every piece of love it gets. The person who posted will get a notification that you loved their item. Love notifications are adjustable in the settings in your profile.
